Dana Messinger Wins Active Motif CUT and RUN Service Grant Competition
PhD Student Dana Messinger from the Koschmann lab has been selected as the 1st place winner of our CUT&RUN Service Grant Competition, receiving $15,000 in services. We are incredibly excited about the Active Motif Support for this Important Project: Here is the notification:
“Out of 130 grant submission abstracts, your project stood out during a blind review conducted by our internal team of scientists. Your proposed study was chosen not only for its innovation but also for its strong feasibility and high likelihood of success.
In your sumission, you outlined an exciting CUT&RUN experiment testing 8 mouse glioma cell lines on targets SUZ12, H3K27me3, and H3K4me3. We are equally optimistic that this study will provide groundbreaking insights into why ATRX loss is preferentially selected for in H3G34R/V-mutant gliomas compared to H3K27M-mutant gliomas. This is an incredible direction that could significantly advance the understanding of glioma biology.
Once again, congratulations! This is a well-deserved recognition of your lab’s outstanding work, and we are excited to support you in advancing this impactful research.”
